A great slope, a great party, everything's great

PistenBully makes the Women's Giant Slalom in St. Vigil perfect

Thanks to the new GTL Fuel Alpin team, the St. Vigil in Enneberg AG ropeways are Italy's pioneer of eco-fuels.

Since the beginning of the of the World Cup story on the Kronplatz in South Tyrol 8 years ago, PistenBully supports the organizational committee by providing vehicles and corresponding equipment. Over and over again, St. Vigil am Enneberg impresses the responsible parties with ideal racing slopes and paves the way for giant slalom athletes to achieve their best performances.

An experienced team
In late January, the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Women's Giant Slalom took place in wonderful weather at Kronenplatz. Approximately 15,000 guests and spectators were treated to a great spectacle in the wonderful South Tyrol weather. As usual, the advanced slope Erta was presented in the best conditions. This is in large part thanks to the PistenBully fleet at St. Vigil, which the OK team led by Al Plan Events President Danny Kastlunger worked with to achieve a great result. This time, Kässbohrer Italia S.r.l. provided a new PistenBully 800 with SNOWsat and LiDAR snow depth measurement for highly efficient snow management for the elaborate preparations. "Utilizing PistenBully, which was active on the "Erta" during these weeks, allowed us to get the slope into an optimum condition, providing the perfect conditions for the world's best skiers," explains Kastlunger proudly. "In the future, we will also rely on the support that Kässbohrer offers. For us, Kässbohrer is always a reliable partner and supporter of this race." This is a partnership that benefits both parties.

A pioneer of new technologies
The red vehicle fleet at the St. Vigil ropeways includes 11 PistenBully vehicles, equipped with the latest technologies for snow depth measurement. New developments and technological advancements that lead to a sustainable and environmentally friendly grooming of their slopes are always the focus at St. Vigil. So it is also the vehicles from St. Vigil that are the first in Italy that are being refueled completely with GTL Biofuel.

The experienced Plan Events and Kässbohrer team once again did a great job and fostered a fantastic World Cup feeling that put a smile on the face of all attendees.

PistenBully

The design of the ERTA racing slope is unique and highly varied, with flat passages, as well as some steep passages and overhang areas that demand skiers to give it their all. They also demand extensive know-how in the stages before grooming.
